Having been a nurse for 44 years, I had hoped the doctor would have taken an adequate medical history from me, but it seemed he only had a minute or two allotted for my visit type. My chief complaint was urinary frequency, urgency and hesitancy, and no pain, however, I had been on Augmentin for 3 days with little relief and new onset nausea and diarrhea, which he did not address. His advice was to continue the med until the culture returned, but the UA was negative, making the culture an unnecessary expense and furthering my discomfort. I discontinued the Augmentin after diarrhea and several doses of Imodium. Please evaluate your patients after listening to ALL their complaints. Thank you.

I had been struggling with a bad cough and sinusitis and I was able to get in right away, within 15 minutes, and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the Doctor gave great care and gave an accurate diagnosis with meds to help get me better asap.  Very happy with the patient care from Doctor and medical staff! Both the waiting room and patient’s rooms were clean and inviting.  Dr. Shuker has an excellent bedside manner, he’s very knowledgeable and conducted a thorough exam. I wasn’t rushed during my appointment, treatment was discussed with me, and my questions were answered. I recommend Beacon Skin and Surgeries to all.

Been having a terrible cough and mucus for a few weeks walked in today relatively no wait maybe 5 to 10 minutes after paperwork and got right to business. The staff was very caring and helpful. They listened to my issue made there educated assessment and had me on my way!
