Highly recommended!  We made an appointment however they were very busy so we had to wait anyway but it was totally worth it.  We saw the provider and she was able to diagnose quickly and give us prescriptions.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis should get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, received a blood transfusion before 1992, or were born to a mother with hepatitis. In addition, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should also be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. Hepatitis can cause liver damage, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer. Early detection through testing allows for immediate treatment, reducing the risk of these severe health complications. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not know they are infected, making testing even more important.
