The front desk was busy, and the staff member who assisted me was not very welcoming. I was also charged a copay that I should not have owed. When I called back, Brittany said she would adjust the fee, but she was abrupt and ended the call while I was still speaking. Because of this experience, I am unlikely to return. I’ve been to this urgent care many times and have always had a great experience, which is why I continue to go back. The staff at check-in were excellent, and we only waited about 5 minutes to be seen. Unfortunately, our experience with the nurse who brought my 11-year-old daughter back for triage was not so great. My daughter had a 103-degree fever and was clearly not feeling well. The nurse was not particularly friendly or comforting, which I could have overlooked, but what bothered me most was how rough she was when administering the COVID/FLU and strep swabs. And then again with the MONO finger prick. I’ve never seen these tests performed so rough or take so long. My daughter is a trooper and handled it well, but it just seemed more aggressive than necessary. The doctor (PA) performed an additional swab afterward to send off, and the difference was night and day. He was quick, gentle, friendly, and even a little silly with my daughter, which made the experience so much easier. I understand these tests aren’t pleasant, but a little kindness and gentleness go a long way -especially when dealing with a sick child.

I am always pleased with service I receive at this facility. I must say I feel really sick and was given an antibiotic and cough syrup for my symptoms. I hope by Friday I am feeling better.
