Sylvania Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted infection (STI) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends chlamydia testing for all sexually active women under the age of 25, as well as older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners. Men who have sex with men should also be tested for chlamydia and other STIs.

Importance of getting tested

Chlamydia is often asymptomatic, meaning it doesn't always cause noticeable symptoms.
