Urgent care
Juan, the medical assistant was good and receptive. The PA who saw me was also good but I just didn't agree with her recommendations. She was gracious to accept my opinion and she maintained her professionalism despite my disagreement. She did tell me that she was putting me on dexamethasone but forgot to explain the dosage; and also antibiotic but I already know what to do with the antibiotic. I thought the prednisone was a little high--40 mg everyday for seven days. It may be a good dose but for me, it gives me quiver and crave for food that's the reason why I was hesitant to take it. She did offer me to be nebulizer but I said I'll do it at home.

Urgent care
My doc had no appointments, went here. Thought I had a simple sinus infection. Golf ball size swelling on my glands, having trouble swallowing. Doc said no infection gave me a low dose of steroids for swelling. Took steroids for 2 days and I was getting worse. It was Saturday so I had to go to Urgent care. Doc took one look at me and realized how bad it was. Shot in the butt with antibiotics, ten day regimen of more antibiotics. Feeling better now. Do not go to this place if you need an anything more than a band aid. I had 2 raging infections going on at once. If she did not know what she was doing she should have said that and sent me to ER. I will be filing a formal complaint, I have all the documentation.

Can't get current appointments. + See booking page
My only comment is the difficulty in checking in on the phone. There should be a paper alternative.

Vacaville is a Solano County city of approximately 102,000 residents along the I-80 between San Francisco (55 miles southwest) and Sacramento (35 miles northeast).4 Although technically in the broader Bay Area combined statistical area, Vacaville functions as a regional hub in its own right with NorthBay Health's VacaValley Hospital serving as the primary local emergency facility. Many Vacaville residents commute to San Francisco, the I-80 corridor employer base, or Travis AFB. For metro-wide options the San Francisco Bay Area urgent care network provides additional access.
