What to know before you go

Call us when you are parked outside .Bring a Photo ID, your insurance card (if you want to go through your insurance for the lab) and/or one of the following forms of payment if your not using your insurance or if rapid test not covered ( credit/debit card or cash). We encourage all patients to do the nasalpharyngeal swabs as well and send them to a lab for confirmation

Needed a pcr for my surgery and they came out to my car to get me tested ..it was so convenient since I couldn’t get my baby out in the cold..quick ..friendly ..professional

I had tests taken two different times and the wait was quick. I," called when I arrived and they came out quickly. I like the ease of not having to get out.

Appointment was for 12:40. Called when I arrived. Waited over an hour in the parking lot, then called the pharmacy number to get an estimate of timing. Pharmacist said there was only one nurse working/swabbing. Would be at least another half hour, which really meant at least another hour. Saw one car who had been waiting longer than me just leave without being swabbed. Not sure why the Michigan.gov website lists available appointments at this location when the location is so backed up. Before I drove away, so looked online and saw more open appointments for this location were listed for the rest of the afternoon. Perhaps I Pharmacy or Rapid Bio should have a better line of open communication and cut off appointments on the website when they become overwhelmed. Rather not take the time to drive and wait in a cold car—when I could be looking elsewhere. Like the Seinfeld episode and the rental car reservation—is it really an reservation? Why list appts online when there is not adequate staffing? Only adds to the pandemic frustration.
