The online system was easy to navigate & got me an appointment quickly. The check in process went smoothly until the last step and then would not let me complete. Fine for Me, but more work for the staff. 20+ yrs of neck pain/trouble and this was the 1st time I ever went anywhere for help managing the pain. The PA acted like I was asking for heroin. I explained I’d been to the chiropractor the day before and was at urgent care under his advice because he couldn’t RX anything. I told her I’d been alternating heat/cold and Motrin 800mg/Tylenol 1000mg…to no avail. I asked her to run an OARRS report and she’s see I’ve never been anywhere in my life for pain meds. She stated they don’t really have access to that system. I advised I had the utmost respect for her and her license, but felt that was frustrating. If she didn’t help me I’d have been forced to the ER for the same reason, and it’s not my job to provide her the resources to do hers. She would have merely needed to look to get the whole story and then could Have provided compassionate appropriate care without me needing to feel judged or guilty. In the end she RX’d a muscle relaxer, a steroid (also a shot in the office) and Tylenol with codiene. This treatment was very effective and got me through the worst of pain, so I could continue my treatments with the chiropractor. It was a fairly bad experience for me, but in the end I got what I’d been looking for.

I came in scared because I coughed up blood in the morning. The staff made me feel much more comfortable and we’re so friendly. Tracey the nurse practitioner comforted me and assured me that it’s okay to be scared but that I would feel much better soon. Thank you so much to the entire staff for helping me.

I had a tonsil stone and saw Ashley G. She was absolutely amazing!!! She was 100% patient with me and answered every question that I asked. Not once did I feel rushed. I have to also say that the female assistant that was at the front desk was also very helpful and kind.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus through contaminated blood, sexual contact, or shared needles should consider getting tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have had unprotected sex, shared drug-injecting equipment, or have been in close contact with a person who has hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers, travelers to certain countries, and those with certain medical conditions may also be at higher risk and should consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, it allows for early detection, which can prevent the disease from progressing to severe liver damage or cirrhosis. Secondly, it can prevent the spread of the virus to others. Lastly, it can provide peace of mind for those who may have been exposed to the virus. According to the CDC, hepatitis is a leading cause of liver cancer and the most common reason for liver transplantation in the United States, highlighting the importance of early detection and treatment.
