Was able to book an appointment and get seen the same day.ย  Only thing I disliked was that the provider didnt introduce herself nor did she has a badge on her.ย  She was attentive and answered my questions but would of liked her to have a badge on her so I would be able to identify her.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus or is at risk should get tested for hepatitis. This includes those who have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have a history of STDs. It's also important for those who have traveled to countries where hepatitis is common, have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis, or have chronic liver disease to get tested. According to the CDC, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should also get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. First, it allows for early detection, which can prevent serious liver damage and complications such as cirrhosis and liver cancer. Second, it helps prevent the spread of the virus to others. Lastly, knowing your hepatitis status can inform decisions about lifestyle and healthcare, such as whether to get vaccinated or start treatment.
