I was feeling awful stopped in on my way home from work, I was in and out less than an hour. Though they were unable to give me results that evening, the doctor working to the time to have results sent off instead of just taking a guess at what could be wrong which was considerate. I use AFC in baytown most of the time but didnt realize what kind of service and care I was missing until I went to AFC Clearlake

Everything was fine except for the wait time. We made an appointment based on other obligations, however we still ended up waiting for 80 minutes after our appointment time to be taken back.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus or is at risk of exposure should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, traveled to countries with high hepatitis prevalence, or have a family history of the disease. According to the CDC, certain populations such as men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, and individuals with HIV are at a higher risk and should be regularly tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, such as liver disease and cancer. Early detection allows for immediate treatment, reducing the risk of these complications and preventing the spread of the virus to others.
