I blame the company for the wait time — offering 10 appointment times in one hour is irresponsible and poor personnel management— I felt terrible for the one receptionist, the one nurse, and the one practitioner. The people were lovely but the process needs improvement.

I felt like the sickness was dismissed as a virus very quickly, didn’t even bother to check for strep. The staff is very friendly, but I just wish they would take our concerns a little more serious.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who is at risk for hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have been in contact with someone who has hepatitis, people who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, men who have sex with men, and individuals who have had multiple sexual partners. Additionally, healthcare and public safety workers who have been exposed to blood on the job, and travelers to countries with high rates of hepatitis, should also consider getting tested. According to the CDC, even individuals with no symptoms can still spread the virus.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, which can lead to serious liver damage. Early detection can help prevent these complications. Secondly, knowing your hepatitis status can help protect others, as the disease is highly contagious. Lastly, if you test positive for hepatitis, there are treatments available that can help manage the disease and prevent further liver damage.
