Scheduling and check-in was super easy as I did it from the Solv app.  The staff was patient and sweet to my 2 toddlers who were both sick and rambunctious. The provider answered all my questions and even gave me tips on things to and not to feed them during their sickness to help with their congestion and diarrhea.

My father had a pain in his side that made him groan every couple of minutes. His doctor’s office was closed, so we needed an urgent care clinic that accepted Medicare. Found CityDoc, scheduled online for that afternoon, and completed all the paperwork online. It was easy, and check-in was easy and smooth. Everyone at the clinic was very nice, and the doctor was very nice  and quite thorough. I would definitely recommend this provider and this clinic. *The day after our visit, my father reported his pain was getting worse. We went to the emergency room for painkillers, and they recommended a CT scan, which showed two broken ribs. CityDoc had x-rayed his rib(s) and told us no fractures were seen. So maybe not such a strong recommendation to CityDoc although everyone was very nice.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug-injecting equipment, had unprotected sex with an infected person, or received a blood transfusion or organ transplant before 1992. Additionally, those born to a hepatitis-infected mother, healthcare workers, and people traveling to countries with high rates of hepatitis should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it is often asymptomatic in its early stages, meaning people can be infected and spread the virus without knowing. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage and preventing the spread of the disease to others. According to the CDC, chronic hepatitis is a leading cause of liver cancer, making testing and early intervention vital.
