My visit required a follow up later in the afternoon, which was botched up at each step. Different prescriptions were supposed to be sent to the pharmacy that never came over and by the time they did come over the pharmacy closed hours later. Then the prescription that was resent was the same one as earlier in the day and the insurance company refused to cover it obviously. Communication and follow through was horrible.

Came in for pain with my left shoulder radiating under my arm on my arm and down my left side. Saw Dr.Lynch who was absolutely wonderful.she advised me to get a cat scan and MRI which is scheduled. Gave me a shot and a muscle relaxer started feeling better within a short period of time. The facility is so clean beautifully decorated and the staff were amazing and so helpful. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and knowledge. They have long hours which is so convenient. If I ever need to go to an Urgent Care again it would be here. Thank you

I have been to this facility a few times when I have had to take my child in times when her Pediatrician was away. They have taken care of her and even given me a referral so that I may take her to a specialist to further evaluate her. It's not very far from my home at all. I'm glad they are also available after my child gets out of school, since her pediatrican's last appt. is at 3:30, I have time to go to Metro-UrgiCare and feel reassured.

Was in and out for a rapid COVID test. Super fast experience and very friendly staff.

Awesome job! Had a rapid test this morning everything went smooth. Great place keep up the great work, you never disappoint me, don't ever change!

We used you for urgent care 2x. You guys are fabulous. I waited 25 minutes to be taken. It happens. You should though, put a sign saying for Covid tests here or there. Today I was there for that. Because of these crazy times. Don’t wanna be in a room with healthy or not healthy people. Maybe a little partition.

The booking is convenient. I didn’t need to touch anything from the clinic, I only did the check in on my phone. The clinic is clean, and the nurse who took my sample is really nice and accommodating and the swab test did not hurt, she did it gently and with care.

The be while team were cordial & professional. The test examiner had a terrific sense of humor to add to his friendly manner.

My reason for visit was for a COVID-19 Rapid Test, I stated the reason as exposure at work when I made my appointment online. For the woman that administered my test, I'm thinking "If one person had relayed my reason for visit to her, perhaps she wouldn't have come off as afraid/hesitant/terrified while administering my test." (you know pandemic and all) Its not her fault, but for future read the client's reason for visit, relay the info efficiently, and keep people safe. I was informed due to my exposure level I should wait 5 days before being tested. That would've been a better phone call to receive for safety than stepping into a clinical setting. Which, again would've come if the message were relayed appropriately.

My visit was great! I had an appointment & did not have to wait long. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I appreciated that the doctor came in to ask me if I had any questions about the covid test & my results came back in the time I was told they would. Overall my experience was great!

The staff were very friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable during the waiting and testing procedure.

Had the rapid and pcr test. I appreciated having both option. Waited 30 mins but understandable given the demand for tests. Staff was great!

Reception lady is a rockstar multitasker with a professional approach. Young lady that administered Covid test was very polite and professional as well.

Had a covid test. Was able to do all paperwork and check in online. Very easy and efficient process.

I went in to get a rapid antigen test for travel. From the online scheduling through the results, everything was seem less. I got there 10 mins before my appointment time and was seen on time. All of the staff was friendly and professional. I let the tech doing the testing know that it was my first time and I was nervous. She assured me she would take her time and explained thoroughly the procedure and showed me the testing stick she would use. It was painless and I only felt a tickle in the back of my nostril. I was given my physical results in 10 mins. The Dr on staff even came in after the test was done to introduce himself and say hello. This was a rare and surprising visit and I will recommend this office and won’t hesitate to go back.

Very “rapid” rapid testing ! I was having trouble in the website so a person on the phone helped me with making my appointment

I could not be more grateful for the help my daughter and I received during a very difficult time for us. My daughter had her car stolen with all personal items including cell phone, ID, insurance card and we needed to get her a covid test ASAP to get her admitted into a treatment facility. I dealt with 3 different associates while attempting to get an appointment for her. They were all kind considerate and helpful. The wait time for the test was reasonable and the test itself and the results were provided in a timely manner.

The nurse who helped me was very knowledgeable and kind. It was my first time taking a COVID test and she was amazing!!!

I made an appointment for a rapid Covid test but wasn’t seen for an hour. I get that the requests are at an all time high though.

Tenafly Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
