So amazing these caring souls that work here! I came in last minute with my daughter and in the kerfuffle of illness and getting her there on time we forgot her ID. The appointment I had originally was at 6:30 and they close at 7. We didn’t get back there with the ID until 6:50. The angel at the front desk called me to see if I was still coming! They helped us thoroughly, thoughtfully and with incredible kindness. Thank you immensely.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus should get tested. This includes individuals who have used intravenous drugs, had unprotected sex, traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or have been in close contact with someone who has the disease. Additionally, healthcare workers, individuals with chronic liver disease, and those born between 1945 and 1965, are also recommended to get tested due to higher exposure and infection rates.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, preventing further liver damage. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until significant liver damage has occurred. Early detection can also prevent transmission to others, as individuals can take steps to protect their partners and loved ones.
