Was able to make a fast easy appointment for next day online. But wait time in clinic was very long even though I did have an appointment. I think AME should do reminder messages of appointments or when patient needs testing as well.

I was going in for a routine drug test for my job. There seemed to be very few people there  and I was shown that there were 0 people ahead of me for the test. I continued to wait in the lobby for about 10 min and nobody said anything to me about my wait time other than they will be with me shortly. Both staff members seemed very short with me and the person doing my urine test was rude and impatient with me when I was wrapping up with a text message. She didn’t even flush the toilet from the previous person using it and didn’t apologize for having me enter a bathroom with a used toilet. There was some kind of issue with the ceiling and water leaking everywhere so maybe that’s why the staff was grumpy but that should not be an excuse.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus should get tested, including those who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, or have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis. The CDC also recommends testing for those born between 1945 and 1965, as this group has a higher risk of hepatitis C.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for early detection and treatment. Hepatitis, if left untreated, can lead to serious health complications such as liver disease and liver cancer. According to the CDC, early intervention can prevent these complications and improve the quality of life.
