Was able to make a fast easy appointment for next day online. But wait time in clinic was very long even though I did have an appointment. I think AME should do reminder messages of appointments or when patient needs testing as well.

Pain from Sciatica had become unbearable. I wasn't able to schedule an appointment with my doctor, but I went online to Carbon Health's website and had no trouble booking an appointment. I was seen on time, the facility was clean & comfortable, the check-in process was hassle free, and the young lady at the front desk was polite and professional. Dr. Upton was a tremendous help to me. In addition to being able to prescribe the right medication for my condition, she advised me regarding lifestyle changes that might be beneficial. Above all - SHE LISTENED to me! I would certainly recommend this location to my friends and neighbors.

This was my first visit. The staff was great, the office was clean and there was no waiting even though I was a walk-in. The online check in process was easy to navigate. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received. I would recommend this provider. Thank you!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, or have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis. Healthcare workers and those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis are also at risk. According to the CDC, baby boomers, or those born between 1945 and 1965, should also get tested as they are five times more likely to have hepatitis C.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection allows for immediate treatment, reducing the risk of complications and preventing the spread of the virus to others.

Free STD testing and community health centers

Community health centers often offer free or low-cost hepatitis testing. These centers can be a good option for those without insurance or who are unable to afford testing.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are available and provide a private and convenient option. These kits require a small sample, typically a blood spot, which is then mailed to a lab for testing. Results are usually available online within a few days.
