I had a completely positive experience this morning.. on a Saturday. I liked that I could register for my appt. and then just wait for my scheduled appt time .. only had to wait maybe half an hour.. I was texted when a room was ready for me and upon entering the front door , a tech was waiting for me and took me right in and got did all the preliminary work. An NP came right in and examined me. Have had a scratchy throat for a couple of days .. then last night had a stuffy nose and sneezing and coughing . Slight headache with sinus pressure. I was extremely concerned because I had spent the day before with my 87 year old dad in ER He had fallen at the nursing home and fractured both hips. Had surgery on both that evening. But I had also had close family with me for a couple of days due to his condition. Anyway, a COVID TEST was done and I was able to get the results (NEGATIVE!) within 10 minutes !! So thankful !! And prescribed an antibiotic for possible sinus infection. The staff was friendly and caring and knowledgeable and efficient! I am so thankful for Freeman Urgent Care! And highly recommend them!

Dr. Manzer has always taken time to listen to our physical complaints, and been very supportive. I never feel rushed through, because unlike many doctors, he doesn't have a quota he has to meet. I have been a nurse for over 30 years and I have complete trust in him. If he doesn't know what exactly is wrong, he will send us to someone that specializes in the field.

Doctors commonly order lab tests and can refer you to one or more reputable lab test centers in your area. • How much do lab tests cost?

The cost of a lab test is determined by several factors, including the type of test, your location, whether you have insurance, and the fees charged by the lab test provider. Many health insurance providers will cover the cost of lab testing in part or in full. Those who do not have insurance, on the other hand, will almost certainly face higher costs. • How long does it take to get lab test results in Oronogo?

Lab test results may be available in minutes, hours, days, or weeks, depending on the type of test performed, lab staff productivity, and your doctor's availability. Some lab test providers let you see your results as soon as they're available online, while others need you to wait for your doctor's answer. Your doctor or the lab provider can give you a more accurate estimate of when your lab test results will arrive.

  • What is a routine lab test?

A basic lab test may evaluate your red and white blood cell counts to discover if you have anemia, a blood infection, or blood cancer. It may also test fat levels in your blood to determine your risk of heart disease and examine the health of your organs, such as your heart, kidneys, and liver. Your healthcare provider will be able to explain what a typical lab test entails.

  • What STDs can be detected by a blood test?

I pulled up for my rapid COVID test and had to wait no more than 10 minutes for the whole thing. The staff was super friendly and explained everything in a clear and concise way. If I or someone I know needs a test I would send them here.

On a Saturday morning walk in. I wanted to do the rapid Covid-19 test to make sure I was not sick. The staff was great and got me in and out. I have a virus and thankfully not the covid virus!

- Verified patient on 2/20

Because the lab to which I'd gone for my COVID PCR test never reported my results, I had to scramble at 5 am to find a facility at which to be tested. Thankfully, the agent at American Airlines directed me to Creve Coeur Urgent Care! Dr. Alazzani was able to do a rapid antigen test as soon as I arrived and Ms. Pickens handled all of the paperwork. Thanks to them, I was still able to get to Barbados on the day intended!

I found this neighborhood pharmacy offering rapid covid testing via Google search. I'm glad I did! Lots of appointment times available, very friendly and professional staff, and convenient location. The person assisting me talked to me about possible exposure timeline and symptoms, explained the various tests and confirmed with me what I wanted, performed the tests, and called me with results promptly. Excellent service and I look forward to patronizing them for any future pharmacy needs.

I had an appointment, but were busy, 2 hour wait time for those without appointments. I had some wait time, but I was grateful to get in for the Covid test. Taylor Donahue did a great job of answering any questions and advising me on this Covid. Thank you.

- Verified patient on 8/30

The only concern I have is the Nurse practitioner asked me to have a Covid test and I agreed. The test was negative. I had bronchial symptoms and I had a fever last night of 100.0. The Covid test was negative. On her assessment she wrote “Contact with and suspected exposure to Covid 19. “ I never said I had contact with anyone with covid. I don’t even know any one with active Covid. I would like this above statement to be removed from my medical records.

- Verified patient on 5/9

Although the wait time was long, the staff was supremely helpful, and kind. They were doing their best given the volume of walk ins they were dealing with. I appreciate all the staff I interacted with was trying to help speed up the time it was taking to have my covid testing done. All the women working today (November 12 at the ambassador location) are an asset to the NextCare team. Thank you!

- Verified patient on 11/12

While my wait was 2 1/2 hours to be tested for COVID… it was not the facility’s fault… simply the nature of a small facility and an overflow of clients. Once I was called , the process to be tested went swiftly and the Nurse Practitioner was extremely helpful in answering, not only my questions, but also in taking the time to check my vital signs, and offering advice to mitigate my symptoms.

Visited as a drive up customer, having made our appt the night before. Was greeted by a pair of employees who informed us what to expect and how results would be communicated. Shortly after that another tech collected the sample and told us that while the test took 15 minutes, it could take up to an hour to document the results and send the email. We were in and out in 15 minutes and received our results in an hour. Very professional, courteous and timely.

- Verified patient on 2/13

I was glad to have a place to get the test. Only thing I wish I could of done was to be able to call in and get my name on the waiting list so when I drove an hour not feeling well, I would not of had to wait outside in a running car.

- Verified patient on 12/7

I made an appointment and used a drive-up facility for a rapid COVID-19 test. Staff was very friendly and courteous. They explained the procedure and had me in my way within minutes. My results were emailed to me after about 20 of my test. Highly recommend using Rapid MedLab.

- Verified patient on 1/11

Although I waited 3 hours to get tested, the staff was very friendly. The nurse made me feel like I was her number one priority and the doctor was very thorough and kind. It’s a tough time right now and it was a good visit.

My son needed to come in for Covid rapid test. The person I spoke to was so nice! She got us all set up over the phone and he was able to get in and be seen. It was a very easy process! Thank you!

- Verified patient on 5/15

The new guy did great, wait was short, receptionist was funny. Everyone seemed more concerned about the covid/strep test than what I was actually feeling. I know everyone is overworked with not enough help. I just wish a few more looks would have been taken. I am still getting worse with no relief.

- Verified patient on 11/24

Excellent care—check in friendly and efficient and caring, tech friendly and explained the nasal swab test very well and performed very well, nurse practitioner very professional and caring with great bedside manner and listened and answered our ?’s very well. The solv online appointment making also was very efficient. Thank you for a great experience.

Everyone I interacted with from the express care staff to radiology and lab were fantastic. Once I was seen everything moved smoothly and all tests were performed in a timely manner. Most importantly there were updates right away on results and I was called my CT results within a hour of me returning home.

- Verified patient on 9/16

Incredible service. The experience made me proud of humans and what we can accomplish. My first test at the beginning of the pandemic took two weeks to get results and everyone was cranky. At Rapid Test I had the results 15 minutes after I got home. The team was incredibly efficient and super nice. Keep up the good work!

- Verified patient on 1/30

I went for a COVID test. There were 20 people ahead of me so there was quite a wait. However, once I was called in, everything went very smoothly. The process to check in was very convenient. It’s much easier at the Elm Street facility than the main building.

- Verified patient on 9/6

I went in with breathing issues they took me back immediately and started testing to find what was going on. I had pneumonia which I had asked my Doctor if he thought it was that at my appointment. I have been there several times and have been satisfied with the services. BEST urgent care in the area.

- Verified patient on 11/28

Very disappointed I didn’t get my results in a hour and your location was closed right after I took the covid test. My husband went 10 minutes before I did and he got his results in 45 minutes. I’m 90 minutes later and no results in any of my emails accounts and coordinating junk and spam folders.

Oronogo Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing.
