Dr. Kenneth Farrell saw my for a lingering cough. He said he was prescribing a steroid for the cough, and when I asked if I could have cough medicine he said he would give promethazine. When I went to pick up my prescription, there was no steroid. Also, his bedside manner was off-putting.

Scheduling was easy peasy, and over the past week I had to cancel five times due to no ride and they still took me today. The check-in I did online but when I got there they took me right in. The staff is amazing good people skills bedside manner as well as they're so sweet. And my level of care was a 10!

Better than ever could be expected!!! Let's keep in mind how often we find ourselves not even getting that, the actual type of care that you and I and everyone deserve Im not going to say its got a great surgical team with all the latest high tech devices and intricate procedures but it did something else that, in my opinion, is as equally important, perhaps even more so when it comes to getting good solid care and any necessary antibiotics or after care and no questions about payment for me when checking in you log into a questionnaire on your own phone with a password provided by the check in receptionist answer some quick question and then take a picture of your medical insurance coverage /state drivers license you can also upload a photo from your library if your camera is giving you trouble or not working About 20 mins later they had called us back both the nurse and doctor were exceptional again this is exactly how this type of service should be offered why do I want to go to some emergency room that's usually going to charge you just to walk in the door and you just have a sprained ankle or minor burn or something not exactly emergency and dont want to worry about what it's gonna cost and how long you'll have to wait and all these things were completely absent from our visit to the urgent care. Not one time did we feel any thing but at ease. We were in and out within an hour, Im sure it was less, and left feeling that the same outcome, a prescription for antibiotics and follow up instructions, would be the outcome at the emergency room as well except here, unlike going to the emergency room especially for simpler non threatning situations we didn't have to worry about out of pocket or if our insurance would or wouldn't cover this or that it was all striagt forward and very clear we didn't have to fill out pages and pages of paperwork, or wait for hours in some loud, crowded emergency room lobby. This has a very large waiting area, and both, the waiting area and the office were clean, friendly, very welcoming, informative, warm, helpful and kind, the exact opposite of most emergency room visits. All in all its probably one of the easiest and most pleasant visits to a urgent care / emergency room visit. I have ever experienced in 50 years

About Pregnancy Tests

A pregnancy test helps you confirm whether you’re pregnant. Many signs and symptoms of pregnancy overlap with other health and medical conditions, but getting a pregnancy test can reveal whether conception is the reason for your symptoms. A missed menstrual period is usually the primary sign of pregnancy, but other causes of a missed period include diabetes, drug abuse, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and oral contraceptives.

Determining whether you’re pregnant is crucial to the health of your unborn baby, as you need to take extra precautions to make sure you and your baby are safe. For example, spending time in environments where you inhale cigarette smoke or toxic fumes is harmful to your fetus, and medications such as opioids carry serious risks for mothers and their unborn children.

Common signs of pregnancy include tender, swollen breasts, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, headaches, increased urination, mood swings, food cravings, and light spotting. If you experience these symptoms regularly, you might be pregnant and can benefit from taking a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy Test Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I get a free pregnancy test in Idaho Springs?

If you don't have health insurance or don't have access to a doctor, a community health clinic or a Planned Parenthood health center may be able to provide you with a free or low-cost pregnancy test. If you do have insurance, many commercial plans will fully cover the cost of a pregnancy test at an in-network provider including primary care doctors, medical laboratories, and both retail clinics and urgent care centers.

While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you determine whether or not you are pregnant as soon as possible.

  • How soon can I test for pregnancy?

For the best accurate result, wait until the week following your missed menstruation to take a pregnancy test. If you don't want to wait until your period has skipped, wait at least one to two weeks after you've had sex. If you are pregnant, your body needs time to develop detectable levels of HCG.
