Book an STD Test in Oakland, CA

I wanted to have an insect bite looked at to make sure it wasn’t infected. But I didn’t want to deal with an emergency room visit. StatMed was close and I thought it would be a good opportunity to try them out. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The nurse took some preliminary readings and asked questions about medical history and known allergies. She was also friendly and competent. The doctor was quite friendly and explained everything throughout the examination.  I was very pleased with the experience. Friendly, competent, clean and close by. And they have an in house pharmacy for common medicines - a very nice bonus.

We saw Doctor Ziba today. She is kind, knowledgeable and great during the visit today.

It was my first time at Carbon Health, I found the facility clean & bright. The staff was courteous and professional.

Came in 4 mins late but staff checked me in immediately. I am fortunate there was no line eventhough I had an appointment.  Staff were very professional and friendly.  The medical assistant and doctor were caring, also moving fast.  i was out in 30 minutes.  Thank you!

Am visiting from out-of-town. Tried tackling a sidewalk om Friday night, went in at mid-day on Monday and found the sidewalk won. Very helpful.

Excellent experience. The provider was thorough and explained everything very well. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and pleasant.

I went in for a Covid test my original appointment was at 6:30 they were able to take me early at 2:15 Staff was very friendly and polite

Melanie went out of her way to accommodate my husband and me when we came in to get Covid tests. Due to our unforeseen scheduling error, we didn't have an appointment at that time, but she said we could wait in case she could fit us in between patients, even though they were fully booked. She was able to complete our tests quickly and courteously. We were extremely pleased with the care we received. Thanks, Melanie!
