Friendly Staff

Urgent care
I was shocked how easy it was to schedule an appointment on line and for my visit to truly occur at that time. The staff was great, especially the nurse practitioner, Brenda K. She was kind, attentive and proactive. She knew the right questions to ask which made the visit more efficient and easier on me. I felt horrible and she did not make me wait or have to talk a lot. I wish I could have her as my PCP!  I definitely recommend this facility to everyone.

Confirm your plan and any required copay with each clinic before your visit. Most Kemah urgent care clinics also accept CHIP for children's coverage.

How does Kemah urgent care relate to Houston?

Kemah is a small Galveston Bay community on the Houston Bay Area shoreline, best known for the Kemah Boardwalk and a strong tourism and seafood economy. The city sits across Clear Lake from League City and Seabrook and serves as a weekend destination for Houston-area residents. Year-round residents share healthcare resources with the broader Clear Lake medical community. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Kemah population is approximately 2,000 and has remained stable over the past decade.4 The local economy is anchored by tourism, seafood, recreational boating, and aerospace (NASA Johnson Space Center nearby). For specialty care, advanced imaging, or trauma, residents typically travel north into the Texas Medical Center or to UTMB in Galveston, where larger hospital systems anchor urgent care in Houston.
