Quest Diagnostics - 601 W 5th Ave
I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

Doctor Jensen was awesome. She answered all my questions. Took time with me which I really appreciated. Had test done. All was good. Called me within a couple of days to let me know.

- Verified patient on 3/12

Very happy with my visit (other than I was there for a covid test) friendly staff that offered me refreshments and didn’t act annoyed with the questions I had. This will be my new office for medical visits.

- Verified patient on 5/13

The staff were great! The building seems old and in need of updating and remodeling with a larger waiting room and more room for staff to work. However, the reception staff was friendly and helpful and our PA was excellent. The person who administered my test and gave us the results was also very nice and helpful.

- Verified patient on 8/11

Windy was very friendly and efficient at the front desk. Kelli did an amazing job with my test, and Jason was a great provider! I would highly recommend the North Indigo to anyone, they are always very welcoming and friendly!

- Verified patient on 4/15

Wait time went a bit longer then expected because of an emergency walk in. However we were informed every step of the way what was going on and we were treated amazingly the whole time. Everyone was very helpful. The staff was wonderful with my daughter and explained the test they were doing and made her feel as comfortable as possible.

- Verified patient on 9/17

Everyone was so kind to me. I was very emotional because I didn’t feel good at all and they were just so kind to me. Especially because my husband and son tested positive for Covid-19 and I most likely had it too. Thank you for your compassion, I really appreciate it.

Molly the MA was great on the phone to tell us when to come down for the least amount of wait time. They were able to get us in to see the PA within 15 minutes! The PA, Erica Brajcich was compassionate, personable and knowledgeable. She ordered 2 rapid tests and was very reassuring and competent! Thank you for caring for my daughter today!

Glad to get checked out and the recommendation to get a Covid test, just in case, which was handy to be able to get there at Indigo after my evaluation. Also love the fact that you have Jack’s to plug the power cord to charge cell phones in the waiting area. Very nice touch

Arrived 8:30am for TB test...waited over 45 minutes & THEN was asked to complete TB questionaire!!!! & who does the receptionist apologize to?? The medical assistant!!!! Really??!!! Have had many TB tests done w/your facility & 1st time very very poor service. Need improve service when someone there for something so simple & quick

I went to Indigo yesterday for a covid test. While I was making my appointment, I noticed the reviews. The three I read were all bad. Saying that they were impolite and took too long. I wasn’t sure what to expect. When I got there, they were all polite and professional. It was a great experience except for the cotton swab up the nose, and that was not her fault. I just wish people could be more patient and cut health care workers some slack. I think they deserve it.

I have had to be Covid tested twice as I am high risk as is my husband who had Covid. I was treated with respect. All my questions were answered. I had to go a second time as my first test was negative 4 days after my husband’s positive. The clinic, for the second time performed a rapid test with results positive, giving me the knowledge to isolate. My wait was short as a walk in at 8:30 am. This clinic gives full information on Covid, is respectful and available for walk ins depending on the hour as their booked appointments are full daily. I would not hesitate to go there.

Caring and professional staff, excellent facility. The one thing that wasn't as expected was that I thought I had signed up for a rapid test for COVID via SOLV, but learned that results will take up to 5 days. Can't comment on cost because I wasn't billed. Checked in online and again with receptionist - it didn't appear that the information I filled out online pulled through to my chart.

- Verified patient on 8/31

Apart from being I'll, it was a great experience. I was impressed with the range of on site capabilities for testing which resulted in quick turn around. Dr. Leahy and the staff did a great job in attending to me and my situation. They all worked hard to resolve my issue. Dr. Leahy went out of her way to make sure arrangements were in place for surgery that same day. Even the staff at hospital said they were impressed that urgent care did what they needed to get to a diagnosis and didn't just send me to the ER.

Everyone was great! It was so nice not to wait long to be seen or to hear the results of testing & x-rays! I was on my way home to rest in no time!

I went in for a Covid test for travel. The personnel is very friendly and efficient. Had to wait for a while, but they called me when it was close to my turn.

- Verified patient on 9/19

The staff was friendly and they explained everything to me well. I really liked the doctor and she was reassuring with my symptoms. The wait time was reasonable with all the testing that needed to be done. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

overall a good trip i came and got covid tested the lady who was with me was super friendly and made my whole trip pretty nice :)

- Verified patient on 5/31

I called and made an appointment to get Covid tested. The lady at the front counter did not seem to want me to get tested. Then she called over a provider who okayed it. I was called in right away, the gal gave me the test, and I was on my way. Good service.

- Verified patient on 11/20

The front staff were friendly and quick to check me in. I was brought back ahead of my appointment time. I only waited a few minutes for the provider. My test results were done very quickly. I appreciate all their hard work during this Pandemic!

I needed a same day rapid Covid test. They were able to see me. The wait wasn’t long, and the staff was very friendly. Very nice, new facility. Had a call with my results less than a half hour after I left.

Spokane Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
