About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone can contract hepatitis, but certain groups are at a higher risk. These include individuals who have been in close contact with someone infected with hepatitis, people who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, healthcare workers, and those who engage in risky behaviors such as sharing needles or unprotected sex. If you fall into any of these categories, it's crucial to get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Hepatitis is a serious disease that can lead to severe liver damage if left untreated. Early detection is key to preventing these complications. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, making testing even more important.
