I’ve had a stopped up ear for 3 days.  I woke up this morning no change.  I scheduled a time while eating breakfast.  I completed paperwork on my phone also during breakfast.  I got ready.  Made my way to AFC.  The front desk staff were friendly.  They checked me in and took care of my copay.  I was called in minutes.  The preliminaries were taken care of by a friendly tech.  Moments later the PA arrived, did the exam, made her diagnosis, and explained the medication part.  I was given a steroid shot.  The PA came in again and showed me how to access the instructions for the meds prescribed.  And it was over.  I was in and out close to 30 minutes.  Great job by all!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), anyone who has been exposed to risk factors for hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have used injected drugs, received blood transfusions before 1992, been on long-term kidney dialysis, or have been born to a mother with hepatitis. It's also recommended for people who have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis, or those who have traveled to countries with high rates of the disease.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it is a silent disease that often shows no symptoms until it has caused significant liver damage. According to the CDC, early detection can lead to treatments that can delay or even prevent the onset of serious liver disease. It can also help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
