Once we were seen, things were fine. However, we scheduled an appointment, got there shortly before the appointment time, and had to wait an hour and a half before we were called back. Then once we were called back, we had to wait another 45 minutes before we were seen by the doctor. ย This doesnโ€™t seem like thereโ€™s a good reason to schedule an appointment when youโ€™re not seen until an hour and a half after your appointment time. ย We have used this facility before and had to wait maybe 30 minutes, but this was really ridiculous and extremely frustrating!ย  In addition, I have called back several times to try to get the results of what the radiologist has said about the x-ray but because there is no one answering the phone and it is all automated there is no way to get these results unless I drive there. ย There needs to be a way to contact a human being when calling. Again very very frustrating.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have a history of drug use. Additionally, individuals who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, have been incarcerated, or have a chronic liver disease should also consider getting tested. According to the CDC, those born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should also get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, such as liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection allows for prompt treatment and the possibility of a full recovery. It also helps prevent the spread of the disease to others.
