Grandson needed an EKG, suggested by his doctor at Children's Hospital in Aurora, so we stopped by to have it done. My phone was zero percent charged, so we were walk-ins. It took maybe 10-12 minutes to be seen by the nursing staff. She was great to Bryan and then the Nurse Practitioner came in and was just as great to my grandson, while providing the necessary care.

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or do not consistently use protection. This includes individuals in the 25-40 age bracket, who are at a higher risk due to increased sexual activity. Regular testing is recommended as many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they do not show any symptoms. According to the CDC, it's important for pregnant women to get tested as STDs can have severe health impacts on both the mother and baby.

According to the CDC, untreated STDs can lead to severe health problems like infertility, cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing also helps in maintaining the health of partners and reduces the overall prevalence of STDs in the community.
