Wasn’t to happy with provider she kept telling my daughter to look straight like it mattered when she was just listening to her lungs?! Didn’t see why that mattered . And kept saying sit up straight. As if she didn’t feel good already and she came in being bossy. That’s not what I went in for.other staff was nice and friendly.

I recently visited Bellaire ER and they were excellent all around. Miss Ana in the front desk was very nice and helpful. And Dr. Quintanilla was very professional and gave me the upmost care! I would definitely recommend and use Bellaire ER again!

When checking in at the Texas MedClinic waiting time was lengthy, but once we were called to the back. The Medical Assistant was absolutely very Thorough has a excellent personality I would like if Esther skills were passed on to the intire team. The Doctor also was very thorough and explaining over the treatment and follow up. I diffently would recommend this facility. Just make sure and register online before arriving so it can cut down on the waiting time.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience at this location. The pediatrician/NP was great and I have no complaints about the medical provider, but the front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was absolutely no courtesy or respect in the way we were spoken to. As parents bringing in our children, we should not be made to feel like we are an inconvenience or be talked to like we're garbage. I especially had a poor experience with the woman at the front desk who wears glasses. The customer service was unacceptable. We also accidentally left a pair of glasses behind, and instead of the situation being handled professionally, it added to an already frustrating experience. I would recommend going to the Fredericksburg location or another Little Spurs location instead. The medical provider here was good, but unfortunately the front desk experience was enough that I would not return to this location because that front staff is absolutely so rude. Medical team was very efficient and professional. The provider did a great job of discussing and explaining all issues we came in for and had her tested. Prescription was ordered and we were on our way with a plan for recovery.

Urgent care
Tamara at Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care was phenomenal. She demonstrated an extraordinary ability to balance care, efficiency, and effectiveness while helping this grandmother navigate concerns involving potential cost, technology, and the delicate responsibility of communicating with my grandson’s parents. I had come from an ophthalmology appointment earlier that day where my eyes had been dilated, leaving me unable to read the small print on my screen. Tamara immediately adapted. She helped me navigate the technology and get screenshots transferred into the system so the information could get where it needed to go. But Tamara didn’t simply answer questions or provide technical assistance. She listened, problem-solved, and even negotiated to help find a workable solution. She understood that this wasn’t simply about an appointment or a bill. It was about helping a grandmother care for her grandson while respecting his parents, considering the potential cost, and making sure everyone had the information needed to make a good decision. Tamara combined compassion with competence and turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a manageable one. Her ability to provide care with efficiency and effectiveness—while never losing the human element—was exceptional. Little Spurs is very fortunate to have Tamara.

The wait takes a little while but honestly that’s to be expected when you’re at any hospital or clinic. Everyone is very kind and accommodating. Always a very clean clinic. Only thing I would recommend is to turn the tv down in the lobby. When you’re ill and or having a headache all day the last thing you want to hear is the tv blaring. Thanks bunches ladies

Urgent care in Devine, TX

Devine is a small agricultural community of about 4,200 residents in Medina County, situated along I-35 roughly 30 miles southwest of San Antonio. Residents needing same-day care for minor illnesses or injuries can access walk-in urgent care clinics in the greater San Antonio metro — or travel north to the full network of urgent care in San Antonio via I-35.

What services do urgent care clinics near Devine offer?

Walk-in clinics in the Medina County region and northern San Antonio suburbs treat respiratory infections, flu, strep, ear and sinus infections, UTIs, minor lacerations and wound care, sprains, and skin conditions. CHRISTUS Health operates a large network of clinics and facilities throughout the San Antonio area, while University Health and Methodist Healthcare System offer additional outpatient access points south of the metro.2

Devine's agricultural economy — including ranching, farming, and related industries — means local residents often need occupational health services such as wound care, DOT physicals, and treatment for outdoor work-related injuries. Several clinics in the Hondo and San Antonio corridors offer these services.

Does urgent care near Devine accept STAR (Texas Medicaid)?

Most urgent care clinics in the San Antonio metro and Medina County area accept STAR, Texas's Medicaid managed care program for children, families, and pregnant women, administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.1 Rural counties like Medina have high Medicaid enrollment rates relative to population, and community health resources are available for uninsured and low-income residents through local health departments. Confirm your MCO is in-network before visiting and bring your STAR card.3

How does Devine urgent care relate to San Antonio?

Devine sits on the southwestern corridor of San Antonio's commuter shed, with residents increasingly working in the metro while living in Medina County for more affordable land and housing. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Medina County has seen steady population growth alongside I-35 development, with Devine serving as the county's second-largest city after Hondo.4 For the full range of urgent care, specialist, and hospital services, San Antonio urgent care is about 30 minutes north via I-35.
