Booked online, waited about 10 mins. Got seen, they were worried that I needed more care so they sent me to a specialist. I thought that was an amazing way to show me that they care about my well-being.

Thank you to the provider and the MA upfront who helped us today, they were very friendly and compassionate. I’m sorry I didn’t get your names, but there was another young lady up front who wouldn’t even acknowledge me and seemed to be upset because we did come in 1 hour before closing, I can understand how it could be frustrating but I also work at a urgent care and I would never be rude or simply not acknowledge a patient coming in wanting care for their child.  luckily the other MA upfront also noticed she wouldn’t acknowledge me and made sure she heard me which she did she just seemed upset or is having a bad day and choose to purposely ignore me. Besides that it was quick and easy to schedule and get in to be seen  Thank you

Urgent care in Willow Park, TX

Willow Park is one of Parker County's fastest-growing cities, situated along I-20 west of Fort Worth and east of Weatherford — a strategic position in the expanding western DFW exurban corridor. Walk-in urgent care clinics here serve new residents, commuters, and families who need same-day care without driving into Weatherford or Fort Worth. For the broader DFW range, patients access urgent care in Dallas.

What services do urgent care clinics in Willow Park offer?

Willow Park's urgent care clinics treat respiratory infections, flu, strep, UTIs, lacerations, sprains, minor fractures, and pediatric illness. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Weatherford, located just 10 minutes west, anchors the acute-care network for Parker County and supports outpatient services along the I-20 corridor.2 Freestanding urgent care clinics have opened along Fort Worth Highway (US-180) and I-20 to serve the rapid residential growth in the Willow Park–Aledo area.

Does urgent care in Willow Park accept STAR (Texas Medicaid)?

Yes. Clinics in Willow Park and the surrounding Parker County corridor accept STAR, the Texas Medicaid managed care program administered by Texas Health and Human Services.1 MCOs in Parker County include Molina Healthcare of Texas, Aetna Better Health, and Community First Health Plans. Patients should confirm clinic participation with their MCO before visiting.3

How does Willow Park's I-20 location shape urgent care access?

Willow Park's population is approximately 5,976, per U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts — a figure that has grown steadily as families move west from Fort Worth in search of larger lots and lower costs.4 The I-20 corridor between Willow Park and Fort Worth has attracted retail, healthcare, and commercial development, bringing urgent care options closer to residents who previously had to drive to Weatherford or Fort Worth for walk-in care. Aledo and Hudson Oaks, neighboring Parker County communities, add to the corridor's population base. For hospital-level care, Texas Health Weatherford is the local option, with JPS and Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth accessible via I-20 for complex needs through the broader DFW network.
