Booked online, waited about 10 mins. Got seen, they were worried that I needed more care so they sent me to a specialist. I thought that was an amazing way to show me that they care about my well-being.

Thank you to the provider and the MA upfront who helped us today, they were very friendly and compassionate. I’m sorry I didn’t get your names, but there was another young lady up front who wouldn’t even acknowledge me and seemed to be upset because we did come in 1 hour before closing, I can understand how it could be frustrating but I also work at a urgent care and I would never be rude or simply not acknowledge a patient coming in wanting care for their child.  luckily the other MA upfront also noticed she wouldn’t acknowledge me and made sure she heard me which she did she just seemed upset or is having a bad day and choose to purposely ignore me. Besides that it was quick and easy to schedule and get in to be seen  Thank you

I have been coming here for years. Staff are great and if you use web check in there is no wait times. If you don't then you are at the mercy of first come first serve and could wait three hours if they are busy. Web check in is the best thing invented.

My husband have gone here Many times instead of going to the hospital because they can diagnose almost anything; bedside manner is great; check-in does not take long; girls at the front are very nice; and they have "cured" my husband and I from common cold to bronchitis, to bad sinus infections. Personally, I think they are great!

Urgent care in Cresson, TX

Cresson is a small community straddling Johnson and Hood counties about 25 miles southwest of Fort Worth, situated near the junction of US-377 and SH-171. Residents dealing with minor illnesses or injuries can access walk-in urgent care in nearby Cleburne or Granbury — or tap the full network of urgent care in Fort Worth for more options.

What services do urgent care clinics near Cresson offer?

Walk-in clinics serving the Cresson area treat common conditions including upper respiratory infections, strep throat, ear and sinus infections, allergic reactions, minor cuts and lacerations, sprains, UTIs, and occupational injuries. Texas Health Resources operates clinics across the greater Fort Worth area, offering on-site X-rays, lab work, and rapid diagnostic testing.2

Because Cresson itself is a small incorporated city of under 2,000 residents, most residents travel to Cleburne or Burleson for walk-in care. Both communities offer multiple urgent care options with extended evening and weekend hours, eliminating the need to visit a hospital emergency department for non-life-threatening conditions.

Does urgent care near Cresson accept STAR (Texas Medicaid)?

Most walk-in urgent care clinics in the Cleburne and Burleson area accept STAR, Texas's Medicaid managed care program administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.1 STAR covers eligible children, pregnant women, and families who meet income guidelines. Participants are enrolled through a managed care organization (MCO) — confirm your plan is accepted before your visit and bring your STAR card.3

How does Cresson urgent care relate to Fort Worth?

Cresson lies approximately 25 miles southwest of Fort Worth in the rural Johnson–Hood County corridor, an area characterized by ranching, light industrial activity, and growing commuter residential development. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city's population remained under 2,000 as of the 2020 census, with residents largely relying on Cleburne or Fort Worth for healthcare access.4 The full range of urgent care, specialist, and hospital services in Fort Worth is accessible via US-377 North.
