Urgent care
Waited over 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Staff was friendly all around but some seemed very new and inexperienced, and instructions were unclear sometimes. Gave me a preliminary diagnosis but only told me my final diagnosis as I was literally walking out. Never followed up or shared anything formal with next steps with this updated diagnosis. Appreciated the upfront pricing, though and they were nice.

Urgent care
The online scheduling was easy with the time slot availability shown. The hour is great, open later than others in the area, avoided going to ER. I arrived & check-in was smooth & no wait. Aria looked over my wound & stitch up the cut, & the support staff was friendly & professional. I barely felt it during the process, & she periodically reminded me if too painful, she can numb more. Great facility!

Urgent care
My experience was fine in office but the billing department has inaccurately billed me for equipment and reaching the billing department to make corrections has been terrible. They do not answer their phone and you are placed on hold and nobody answers. The billing error was significant.

Urgent care
My husband & I tested positive for COVID this AM. We both were able to very conveniently make online appointments for medical evaluations within 30 minutes of our requests. The UC Village-Albany Urgent Care clinic is modern and attractive with highly efficient, very welcoming, friendly, professional & personable administrative and medical staffs. All of the medical personnel have very kind and empathetic bedside manners and listened very well to (and heard!) and were responsive to our medical concerns and questions. We both were in and out of our appointments within 30 minutes. We are very appreciative and truly grateful to have your clinic so conveniently located near our home. Please keep up the great work!

Urgent care
Juan, the medical assistant was good and receptive. The PA who saw me was also good but I just didn't agree with her recommendations. She was gracious to accept my opinion and she maintained her professionalism despite my disagreement. She did tell me that she was putting me on dexamethasone but forgot to explain the dosage; and also antibiotic but I already know what to do with the antibiotic. I thought the prednisone was a little high--40 mg everyday for seven days. It may be a good dose but for me, it gives me quiver and crave for food that's the reason why I was hesitant to take it. She did offer me to be nebulizer but I said I'll do it at home.

Urgent care
Beth was fantastic, she was thorough, answered all my questions and had great tips too! I would definitely come here again for my son’s health. However, I was speechless with how the medical assistant roughly administered medicine to my infant son. The medical assistant grabbed my son’s face, squeezed it, and squirted antibiotics into him mouth and with the last pump, they squirted it all in even though it was getting to the point of overflowing out of his mouth. Once I held him upright, he immediately spit it back out. I’m not a medical professional, so I can’t say whether this is standard of care, but I was concerned by their handling of him.

Melanie went out of her way to accommodate my husband and me when we came in to get Covid tests. Due to our unforeseen scheduling error, we didn't have an appointment at that time, but she said we could wait in case she could fit us in between patients, even though they were fully booked. She was able to complete our tests quickly and courteously. We were extremely pleased with the care we received. Thanks, Melanie!

Urgent care in San Ramon, CA

San Ramon is one of the Tri-Valley's most affluent and rapidly growing cities, anchored by the Bishop Ranch corporate campus and home to major employers including Chevron, AT&T, and a dense tech and professional services workforce. Urgent care clinics here serve a high-demand, time-conscious suburban population that values quick, convenient access over ER visits. For the full Bay Area network, see urgent care in San Francisco.

What services do urgent care clinics in San Ramon offer?

San Ramon urgent care clinics treat respiratory infections, pediatric illness, sports injuries, occupational health needs, and preventive care such as physicals and vaccinations. Kaiser Permanente's San Ramon Medical Center provides integrated urgent and primary care for Kaiser members, and John Muir Health's network extends into the Tri-Valley through its San Ramon Regional Medical Center.2 Several commercial urgent care operators also serve the Bishop Ranch and Dougherty Valley corridors, meeting demand from the city's large corporate and residential population.

Does urgent care in San Ramon accept Medi-Cal?

Yes. While San Ramon has lower Medi-Cal enrollment than many Bay Area cities, several clinics in the Tri-Valley accept Medi-Cal, California's Medicaid program administered by DHCS.1 Contra Costa Health's resources in the broader county provide access for Medi-Cal patients who need care in the Tri-Valley corridor.3

How does San Ramon urgent care relate to San Francisco?

San Ramon is approximately 35 miles east of San Francisco in Contra Costa County's Tri-Valley region. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, San Ramon has a population of approximately 85,000 residents,4 with significant population growth driven by new developments in Dougherty Valley. The city's strong local healthcare infrastructure—led by Kaiser and John Muir—means most urgent care needs are handled without commuting to the Bay Area's core. San Francisco and UCSF serve as regional specialty hubs for complex care.
