Urgent care
Waited over 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Staff was friendly all around but some seemed very new and inexperienced, and instructions were unclear sometimes. Gave me a preliminary diagnosis but only told me my final diagnosis as I was literally walking out. Never followed up or shared anything formal with next steps with this updated diagnosis. Appreciated the upfront pricing, though and they were nice.

Urgent care
My experience was fine in office but the billing department has inaccurately billed me for equipment and reaching the billing department to make corrections has been terrible. They do not answer their phone and you are placed on hold and nobody answers. The billing error was significant.

Urgent care
The online scheduling was easy with the time slot availability shown. The hour is great, open later than others in the area, avoided going to ER. I arrived & check-in was smooth & no wait. Aria looked over my wound & stitch up the cut, & the support staff was friendly & professional. I barely felt it during the process, & she periodically reminded me if too painful, she can numb more. Great facility!

Urgent care
I am from out of state visiting in the area. I chose this facility from reading the reviews and roughly knew the area of the location. I made an online appointment. From the moment I walked into the facility, being seen and treated, I have nothing but praise and respect for the staff as well as the care I received. I’m this day and age and just visiting with having an unfortunate reason to be seen/treated I was completely satisfied. A little more pricey than I expected but what can I say? Thank you just the same for your professionalism.

Urgent care
I was from out of town and was able to get a same day appointment without issue. I only waited about 5 minutes after arriving and all the staff, nurse and doctor were kind and very helpful. My prescriptions were send to the correct location and ready for pick up in an hour. Overall excellent experience. Would definitely recommend.

Urgent care
Beth was fantastic, she was thorough, answered all my questions and had great tips too! I would definitely come here again for my son’s health. However, I was speechless with how the medical assistant roughly administered medicine to my infant son. The medical assistant grabbed my son’s face, squeezed it, and squirted antibiotics into him mouth and with the last pump, they squirted it all in even though it was getting to the point of overflowing out of his mouth. Once I held him upright, he immediately spit it back out. I’m not a medical professional, so I can’t say whether this is standard of care, but I was concerned by their handling of him.

Urgent care
My husband & I tested positive for COVID this AM. We both were able to very conveniently make online appointments for medical evaluations within 30 minutes of our requests. The UC Village-Albany Urgent Care clinic is modern and attractive with highly efficient, very welcoming, friendly, professional & personable administrative and medical staffs. All of the medical personnel have very kind and empathetic bedside manners and listened very well to (and heard!) and were responsive to our medical concerns and questions. We both were in and out of our appointments within 30 minutes. We are very appreciative and truly grateful to have your clinic so conveniently located near our home. Please keep up the great work!

Urgent care in Pleasanton, CA

Pleasanton is a Tri-Valley city of about 80,000 in eastern Alameda County, anchored by a strong corporate employer base (Workday, Roche, Kaiser Permanente, Oracle) and a high-income, highly insured population. Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare and Kaiser Permanente operate the dominant local hospital networks, with Sutter Health and John Muir maintaining additional walk-in coverage. For broader options, see urgent care in San Francisco.

For most patients, the question "where do I go?" comes down to acuity, time of day, and what's covered by their plan. Solv aggregates real-time availability across area clinics so you can compare wait time, hours, accepted insurance, and patient ratings before booking. Most appointments can be reserved in under two minutes, and many clinics confirm within seconds. If you're booking on behalf of a child or older adult, look for clinics that specifically list pediatric or geriatric experience in their profile.

What services do urgent care clinics in pleasanton offer?

Walk-in clinics in Pleasanton and the immediate Tri-Valley corridor handle minor injuries, lacerations, sprains, infections, asthma flares, UTIs, and same-day adult and pediatric care. Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare and Kaiser Permanente Pleasanton anchor hospital-affiliated urgent care, with on-site X-ray, lab, and frequently EKG capability.2 Occupational health, sports and school physicals, and travel medicine are commonly available, given the area's corporate workforce and youth athletic activity. Many clinics offer extended evening and weekend hours.

Frequent visit reasons across Bay Area urgent care clinics include strep and flu testing, COVID-19 testing, sinus and ear infections, pink eye, urinary tract infections, minor burns and lacerations, fractures and dislocations needing X-ray, and acute back, neck, or joint pain. Many clinics also offer pre-employment screens, TB testing, immunizations, and travel medicine. Online booking via Solv typically reduces wait times to under 15 minutes for the first available appointment, helpful for working professionals trying to fit care into a busy schedule.

Does urgent care in pleasanton accept Medi-Cal?

Yes. Medi-Cal — California's Medicaid program, administered by DHCS — is accepted at most Pleasanton-area urgent care providers, even though commercial coverage dominates the local mix.1 Alameda County's Medi-Cal managed care runs through Alameda Alliance for Health and Anthem Blue Cross, both of which contract with Stanford ValleyCare, Kaiser, and most independent providers.3 KFF reports California's Medicaid enrollment at roughly 14 million in 2023, with significant coverage even in higher-income East Bay corridors.3 Bring your BIC card and managed care plan ID at check-in.

Most clinics will run insurance verification at the time of booking when you reserve through Solv, so you'll know coverage and copay expectations before you arrive. If you're uninsured, ask at booking about self-pay rates — many clinics publish flat-fee pricing for common visit reasons (strep test, UTI evaluation, simple laceration repair) that's competitive with paying out-of-pocket through a high-deductible plan.

How does pleasanton urgent care relate to san francisco?

Pleasanton is roughly 35 miles east of San Francisco — about 45 minutes via I-580 in clear conditions, longer at peak commute. The U.S. Census Bureau lists Pleasanton's population at approximately 79,800.4 The Tri-Valley has its own self-contained medical ecosystem anchored by Stanford ValleyCare and Kaiser Pleasanton, so most residents don't need to commute to SF for routine same-day care. For specialty or trauma, residents may route to Stanford Hospital, UCSF, or John Muir. See urgent care in San Francisco.

For most non-emergency same-day needs, staying close to home is faster and more convenient than driving into the metro core. Booking online through Solv lets you compare wait times, hours, and insurance acceptance across nearby clinics in a single view, and most clinics confirm appointments within minutes.
