I saw Jennifer Grimmet who came into the room handed me papers and told me all my tests were negative. Great! However I had to prompt her to tell me what to do next, because she walked in the room, handed me my paper and just stares at me. She didn't even look at my throat and only listened to my chest as a gesture. I will use another facility or provider next go round. Unacceptable and it was first time I have ever had a negative experience since the Madison location opened. I plan to post my own review publicly as well.

The ease of getting in line online, being able to be seen within an hour of needing an appointment, and the patience and care the staff gave was exceptional. This is the same experience after several visits. Highly recommend. I wish they saw adults.

I was able to book an appointment the same day within 2hrs. There wasn't a long wait time upon my arrival. The staff was professional and my nurse Champagne was very welcoming. She made it a pleasure to visit and was very informative of my services. I would definitely choose this location for any future needs! My provider was also just as great.

Woke up with flu like symptoms and scheduled my appointment right away. Arrived before the clinic opened for my 8:00AM appointment and walked in right as the doors were opened. Proceeded to wait for 45 minutes to be taken back because the office staff was experiencing technical difficulties logging into their software. The front desk person never greeted me or spoke to me at all. The overall clinic was kept clean. The nurse and np were friendly and I was seen quickly and diagnosed and discharged immediately once finally taken back. I was prescribed a new flu medication that is not covered by insurance and while there is a manufacturers coupon, it definitely seemed like pushing of this new drug. So I guess well done to the drug reps. I would return because this location is close to where I live and I can always get an appointment easily.

We waited 1.5 hours just to be seen.   We arrived on time for our appointment that we had booked online. We were told that booking online ahead would put you in front of walk in’s.  We weren’t very happy with the long wait. The whole thing took a total of two hours. I feel like it shouldn’t allow multiple people to book for the same time frame. We definitely weren’tput ahead of anyone. The whole waiting room was seen before us except for the person that came in after us. I went up to the desk twice to check on the situation and even though she said we should be seen after 3 people went back (scheduled appts) we were not, so this proves that walk ins are seen in the order they come in and appointments made online do not trump walk ins. We were, however, satisfied with the physicist we saw , and the quality of the care given at the visit, so in the end that matters most to me!  I hope they can fix this system though and or stick to the policy that they tell you is in place that online appts are seen before Walk ins.

I went into the clinic yesterday was told she didn’t recommend meds because I wasn’t sick long enough and she doesn’t recommend meds until seven days or longer and nobody should be given meds after being sick two days. I started getting worse all night and throughout today was seen at another facility for the same thing I was diagnosed with double ear infection, upper respiratory, and sinus. I was prescribed three different medications. It was also disappointed to be talked down to when I work for the health system.

About Celiac (Gluten) Disease Testing Panel

The Celiac Disease Testing Panel is a set of diagnostic tests used to identify Celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by the ingestion of gluten. This panel helps healthcare providers assess the presence of specific antibodies associated with Celiac disease and aids in confirming the diagnosis.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Madison, Alabama, and have symptoms suggestive of Celiac disease, such as chronic gastrointestinal issues, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, or skin rashes, Celiac Disease Testing Panel is recommended. Additionally, individuals with a family history of Celiac disease or other autoimmune disorders may benefit from this testing to rule out or confirm the condition.

Tests Included in Celiac Disease Testing Panel

The Celiac Disease Testing Panel typically includes the following tests:

  1. Tissue Transglutaminase Antibody (tTG-IgA): Measures the presence of antibodies produced in response to gluten ingestion.
  2. Endomysial Antibody (EMA-IgA): Detects antibodies directed against the body's own tissues affected by gluten ingestion.
  3. Total Serum IgA: Measures the overall level of immunoglobulin A (IgA) in the blood, which helps ensure accurate antibody test results.

Interpreting the Results

If the Celiac Disease Testing Panel shows elevated levels of tTG-IgA and EMA-IgA antibodies and normal total serum IgA, it indicates a high likelihood of Celiac disease. A positive result may lead to further evaluation, including an endoscopic biopsy of the small intestine to confirm the diagnosis.

Following the Test

If the Celiac Disease Testing Panel confirms Celiac disease, your healthcare provider will discuss dietary modifications to eliminate gluten from your diet. Gluten-free diets are essential for managing Celiac disease and preventing complications related to gluten consumption.

Early detection and proper management of Celiac disease through the Celiac Disease Testing Panel can lead to improved quality of life and prevent long-term health issues associated with gluten ingestion.
