Schedule was easy done online ย  The front desk people are very nice and were very helpful , The P.A. ย was very nice and straight to the point , she listen to what I had to sayย  Check in was easy and the online schedule is so convenient. The was goodย  ย  The only problem I had was it could be a little cleaner in the rooms and the trash was so high over stack in the room,ย  Also I think when you leave the office they should be able to print what you were seen for and what medications were giving . ย  ย Over all no issues and I would go back here again and I would tell family and friends about this place

Cory was amazing. My only major concern was that I identified that my daughter had a medication allergy and the APRN who saw us prescribed the one she was allergic to (which I picked up at the pharmacy and paid for) and I had to call back and get a different one. If they document allergies, that should not be ignored when prescribing.

The medical assistant was terrific - friendly, professional and listened. The PA was not that way. Did not even bother to listen to my chest. Because of that did not hear wheezing. Did not read my chart. Cookie cutter treatment. I will find a different urgent care.

About Pregnancy Tests

A pregnancy test helps you confirm whether youโ€™re pregnant. Many signs and symptoms of pregnancy overlap with other health and medical conditions, but getting a pregnancy test can reveal whether conception is the reason for your symptoms. A missed menstrual period is usually the primary sign of pregnancy, but other causes of a missed period include diabetes, drug abuse, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and oral contraceptives.

Determining whether youโ€™re pregnant is crucial to the health of your unborn baby, as you need to take extra precautions to make sure you and your baby are safe. For example, spending time in environments where you inhale cigarette smoke or toxic fumes is harmful to your fetus, and medications such as opioids carry serious risks for mothers and their unborn children.

Common signs of pregnancy include tender, swollen breasts, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, headaches, increased urination, mood swings, food cravings, and light spotting. If you experience these symptoms regularly, you might be pregnant and can benefit from taking a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy Test FAQs

  • Can I get a free pregnancy test in Holyoke?

If you don't have health insurance or don't have access to a doctor, a community health clinic or a Planned Parenthood health center may be able to provide you with a free or low-cost pregnancy test. If you do have insurance, many commercial plans will fully cover the cost of a pregnancy test at an in-network provider including primary care doctors, medical laboratories, and both retail clinics and urgent care centers.

  • Where can I get a pregnancy test in Holyoke?

In general, pregnancy tests will be available at Holyoke-area urgent care centers, retail clinics, primary care doctor offices, and medical laboratories. While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you determine whether or not you are pregnant as soon as possible.

  • How soon can I test for pregnancy?

For the best accurate result, wait until the week following your missed menstruation to take a pregnancy test. If you don't want to wait until your period has skipped, wait at least one to two weeks after you've had sex. If you are pregnant, your body needs time to develop detectable levels of HCG.

Individuals who suspect they may be pregnant should take a pregnancy test. If you have missed your period, have abnormal cramps, have tender breasts, feel unusually exhausted or nauseous, or have recently had unprotected sex, itโ€™s important to test for pregnancy as soon as possible.

  • How much does a pregnancy test cost in Holyoke?

If you are uninsured, blood tests and urine tests in-clinic can cost anywhere from $50 to $200. This price doesnโ€™t include the doctorโ€™s consultation. Search for general practitioners and womenโ€™s health specialists to get a better idea of the cost in the Holyoke-area today.

  • Is a pregnancy test covered by my insurance?

Health insurance and medicare will typically cover the cost of pregnancy tests. You may be responsible for a copay for the consultation appointment.
