Both the doctor and the nurse I saw were great, I feel like I was very well taken care of and heard, they alleviated my concerns, informed me clearly, and gave me a clear plan of action. I wish that doctor could be my primary care physician actually. It was awesome!

Urgent care
My husband has pneumonia, so as soon as I started coughing, I made an appointment at the new Marque Urgent Care on Alicia Parkway.  It was so easy to start an account and get in quickly.  The place is beautiful and the staff was so friendly.  Check-in was fast.  The PA was so knowledgeable about my asthma and gave me meds to keep it from becoming worse.  I feel so much better after only 2 days. They contacted me by phone and text to make sure I was better.  Love this place!

Urgent care in Temecula, CA

Temecula is a fast-growing city in southwest Riverside County, perched between LA, Orange County, and San Diego. Local urgent care handles the bulk of same-day needs given the city's distance from larger metros. For Inland Empire alternatives, see urgent care in Riverside.

What services do urgent care clinics in Temecula offer?

Temecula Valley Hospital is the local anchor, with Kaiser Permanente, Loma Linda University Health, and several independent groups also operating in the area.2 Common visits include respiratory illness, sprains and minor fractures, lacerations, heat-related illness during summer, and pediatric same-day care. Most clinics offer x-ray and basic lab on site.

Most clinics also offer DOT and sports physicals, allergy treatment, STI testing, and travel medicine. What urgent care typically does not handle: active heart attack or stroke symptoms, severe trauma, complicated childbirth, or psychiatric emergencies — those need an ER. Most Temecula-area clinics post wait times online and accept walk-ins, though booking ahead through Solv typically gets you in faster and lets you complete paperwork before you arrive.

Typical visit length is 30 to 90 minutes from check-in to discharge, depending on whether x-ray, lab work, or a procedure (laceration repair, splinting) is needed. Most clinics in the Temecula area are open 7 days a week, with extended evening and weekend hours. Some operate as 24/7 urgent care or freestanding ERs — those are clearly labeled in the booking tool above so you can pick based on hours and acuity.

Does urgent care in Temecula accept Medi-Cal?

Yes — most Temecula urgent care clinics accept Medi-Cal, California's Medicaid program managed by the Department of Health Care Services.1 In Riverside County, Medi-Cal managed care is delivered through IEHP (Inland Empire Health Plan) and Molina. KFF state data shows substantial Medi-Cal enrollment across the Inland Empire.3 Confirm IEHP in-network status with the clinic before booking.

Medi-Cal covers urgent care visits, basic labs, x-ray, prescription medications ordered during the visit, and follow-up referrals. Patients typically have no copay at the point of care for managed-care visits. If your Medi-Cal plan has not been activated or if the clinic is out-of-network with your specific managed care plan, you may be asked to pay self-pay rates and seek reimbursement. The clinic’s front desk can verify eligibility in real time before you’re seen.

For commercial insurance, most local clinics participate with the major PPO and HMO carriers and process insurance at the point of care. Bring your current insurance card and a photo ID. If you’re uninsured, ask about self-pay rates up front — many clinics publish flat self-pay pricing that’s far lower than an ER visit. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at most clinics for the patient-responsibility portion of the visit.

How does Temecula urgent care relate to Riverside?

Temecula has approximately 110,000 residents per the U.S. Census Bureau,4 making it one of Riverside County's largest cities. The city sits 60 miles southeast of downtown Riverside and roughly equidistant from San Diego (60 miles south). This middle-distance position means Temecula functions as its own regional care anchor for the wine country and southwest Riverside corridor.

For most non-emergency same-day issues, staying local in Temecula is faster and cheaper than driving to a Riverside ER. Reserve the ER for true emergencies. If a clinic in Temecula can’t see you, the booking tool above will surface the next-soonest availability across nearby cities — often within a 10–15 minute drive.

Use urgent care for non-life-threatening issues that need same-day attention — fevers, sprains, minor cuts, infections, mild asthma, and similar.
