I recently visited Bellaire ER and they were excellent all around. Miss Ana in the front desk was very nice and helpful. And Dr. Quintanilla was very professional and gave me the upmost care! I would definitely recommend and use Bellaire ER again!

Urgent care
I had an appointment and arrived early. It was a really long wait with one person in front of me. Staff was awesome though. I didn't really feel that I had to be seen by so many different staff members and technicians (4) just for lab work. Never got a call back on rapid results.

Wait time is everything. I had to wait almost an hour for having pink eye. After waiting so long, I was seen and out the door in 5 minutes. Ridiculous.

Urgent care
I have a rash, fever and just felt bad. I made an appointment online for Urgent Care. Everything went well. The staff are all friendly and professional. It turns out I had Strep. I got a prescription for antibiotics and helpful advice from the doctor and I was in my way.

What services do urgent care clinics in Cedar Park offer?

Urgent care clinics in Cedar Park, TX treat respiratory illness, sports and school physicals, lacerations, sprains, urinary tract infections, and routine pediatric concerns. Cedar Park Regional Medical Center anchors the local hospital network, and Baylor Scott & White, Ascension Seton, and freestanding chains operate clinics along US-183, 1431, and the 183A toll road.2

Most Cedar Park urgent care clinics offer same-day online booking, on-site X-ray for sprains and possible fractures, and basic in-house labs (rapid strep, flu, COVID, urine, glucose). Walk-in volume is typically highest on weekday evenings and weekends; booking online and arriving with insurance card and photo ID in hand is the fastest path through the door. Many clinics also offer telehealth for follow-up visits and medication refills.

Does urgent care in Cedar Park accept Texas STAR Medicaid?

Yes. Most urgent care clinics in Cedar Park accept Texas STAR Medicaid, the state managed-care Medicaid program administered by Texas Health and Human Services.1 Coverage and in-network status vary by managed-care organization. KFF reports roughly 16% of Texas residents are covered by Medicaid statewide.3

For uninsured patients in Cedar Park, most urgent care clinics publish self-pay rates online — typical visits run between $125 and $250 depending on labs, X-ray, and procedures performed. Patients without STAR Medicaid coverage but who may qualify can apply through YourTexasBenefits.com or Texas Health and Human Services. Federally Qualified Health Centers in the broader region also offer sliding-scale primary care for non-emergency needs.

How does Cedar Park urgent care relate to Austin?

Cedar Park is a northwest Austin suburb in southern Williamson County, located about 20 miles northwest of downtown Austin along US-183 and the 183A toll road. With a population of an estimated 80,200 residents per U.S. Census Bureau QuickFacts,4 the city has grown rapidly with new master-planned neighborhoods, a large youth and family population, and a corporate base anchored by tech and manufacturing along the 183A corridor. Cedar Park's strong young family demographic drives high pediatric urgent care volume, especially during back-to-school and respiratory season (October–February). Several clinics maintain dedicated pediatric hours and have staff trained in routine pediatric procedures, vaccinations, and sports medicine for school-age athletes.
