I woke up with a really bad headache sore throat, sneezing, coughing so I decided to go to CityDoc. I wasn’t able to go to my regular doctor but I am happy I visited this office. PA Anna was very nice, considerate and professional. She knew exactly what was going on with me, took care of me and I was in and out so fast. These young ladies were amazing from the receptionist to the nurse . I will visit again. I will tell my entire family and colleagues about this practice. Very reasonable prices for self paying individuals. I would recommend it to everyone.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus should get tested, especially those who are at high risk. This includes individuals who have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis. Additionally, those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, such as certain parts of Asia and Africa, should also consider getting tested. According to the CDC, individuals born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should also get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment and can prevent the spread of the virus to others. Furthermore, it can help individuals make informed decisions about their health and lifestyle to prevent further complications.
