I’m simply disappointed in the cold personalities employed at this location. I can’t speak for all staff as I only dealt with 4, but all the children’s murals and paraphernalia does not warm anyone having to visit this location. Where is the warmth from employees as potential patients walk in the door; considering people arrive because they are in need of care? All the medicine will not and will never replace the warmth that a sincere hello brings to the human experience. To consider this place healthcare is overstated when those supposedly administering care has perceivably none for the overall well-being of their patient. I only went in for a covid test. The woman explaining cost of the test was very rude in her tone. My masked slipped down just past below my nose and was immediately directed coldly as though it was on purpose, not asked nor a please, to bring it up above my nose. The lady who provided me with the swabs did not ONCE look at me. Simply walked in the door talking, programmed like some robot, regurgitating questions in the most victimized tone. I’m happy with the cleanliness and, thank God, the speed as to which the visit took. If I have children, I would never take them here or any clinic, for that matter, with such a disconnect to the people they are supposed to be caring for. These statements are no means trying to get the employees in trouble. I’m simply giving an account. I provide hospitality for a living...we serve things like food and beverage, ambience for those healthy enough to enjoy it; a much lesser necessity than the health of an individual during these complicated times.

Where can I get COVID-19 testing in Falls Church

Testing for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is still limited in many areas throughout the country, including Falls Church. Generally speaking, area hospitals, Falls Church urgent care centers and some retail clinics—as well as community-based organizations and cities—are offering COVID testing. Some testing sites are allowing walk-in patients, however, most are requiring some degree of pre-screening, as well as booking an appointment online to prioritize need and control patient volume. Solv is actively maintaining a directory of  Falls Church COVID testing locations for easy reference."

Where can I get an antibody test in Falls Church?

Antibody tests for COVID-19 are available through healthcare providers and laboratories, but may be limited or only available for pre-screen patients meeting certain criteria. Most hospitals, urgent care centers, retail clinics, and other providers are offering the tests, but it is important to check with specific providers to understand their testing protocols and qualifications. Solv is actively maintaining a directory of  Falls Church COVID testing locations for easy reference.

How can I book a COVID-19 test online in Falls Church?

Same-day and next day appointments for COVID testing in Falls Church are bookable directly through Solv. Simply browse the list of healthcare providers conducting COVID and antibody tests above, find one with a “Book Online” button, and book a time that aligns with your schedule stating “COVID-19 Test” as your reason for visit.

  • image/svg+xml image/svg+xml

Can I get tested for antibodies if I am sick with COVID-19?

An antibody test for COVID-19 might inform you if you previously had a coronavirus infection. Because it can take between 1–3 weeks after an infection for your body to develop these antibodies, an antibody test during an active infection would not be successful. To see if you are currently infected, you need a viral test.

  • image/svg+xml image/svg+xml

Who should be tested for the coronavirus?

While decisions about who should be tested for COVID-19 infections are being made by state and local health departments or healthcare providers, the CDC has developed national guidance to support these decisions. It is important to note, however, that not everyone needs to be tested for COVID-19. Prior to booking a COVID or antibody test on Solv or visiting a Falls Church COVID testing site, it is best to contact the provider for the latest testing protocols.

How much do a COVID-19 and antibody tests cost?

In most cases, COVID-19 testing and antibody testing is available at no out of pocket cost if you are covered by commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. You will likely have to pay a normal office visit copay, however. For cash paying patients, the two largest labs have reported that the Medicare rates (likely the lowest cost) to process an antibody test is around $50 and $100-$200 for a PCR swab test. It is important to understand that many healthcare providers are requiring screenings prior to testing, which may or may not be covered by your insurance, and may or may not require additional copays.
