Made an appointment, showed up at specified time and was told the wait was two hours. I did get to sit in my own car and they texted me to come in. Waited 15 more minutes and got in to see the doctor, went good from there. Computer shut down and they had to write me a prescription for medication. No big deal.

Woke up  not feeling well again.  We just couldn’t seem to get any relief at all.   We went to Physicians care and received excellent care.   The dr was very knowledgeable and concerned.   We tested positive for flu type A.   She made sure we had the medication we needed to start getting well.   I will definitely be back in the future and I will recommend it to everyone I know.   The nurse was excellent as well.   Very clean facility.

I scheduled my visit online. I had a few problems in that I have two insurance cards and it would only allow one. Also, as my last name has changed. The website kept changing to my previous name. The visit went smoothly. The PA was attentive and kind. She sent a prescription to my pharmacy right away. I was pleased with the staff who helped me with the online issues.

East Ridge Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

According to the CDC, sexually active women under the age of 25, older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners, and men who have sex with men should get tested for chlamydia annually. It's also recommended for pregnant women and anyone who has unprotected sex with a partner whose STD status is unknown.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial as it often shows no symptoms, leading to it being known as a 'silent' infection. If left untreated, it can cause serious health problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women and epididymitis in men, both of which can lead to infertility. Testing can help identify the infection early and prevent these complications.
