Allergy season had been wreaking havoc on my system for over a week and I couldn't take anymore when my chest began rattling from all the wheezing. The wait time was under 15 min. Bradley was so patient and attentive. I had a breathing treatment in the office and meds were called in immediately. Would definitely recommend.

I woke up with a sore throat this morning had many available times to pick from, checkin was on the phone, very quick and the wait time was not long at all. Additionally, they send discharge papers to your phone so we are saving the trees and having the convenience of having it on the phone with a click of a button.

Everyone was wonderful on my visit.  The only negative thing I would say was the check in process.  You enter your information on an iPad then a paper form then you get a text message to enter the same information.  And I was a repeat customer.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or have been in close contact with someone infected with the virus. It's also recommended for those who have persistent liver disease symptoms, such as fatigue, abdominal pain, jaundice, or dark urine.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial for a number of reasons. Early detection can help prevent the spread of the virus to others and allows for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of liver damage. It also enables healthcare providers to provide education and resources for managing the disease effectively.

Hepatitis testing options in Woodbury, NJ:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

Urgent care and walk-in clinics in Woodbury, such as Carbon Health in Philadelphia, PA, and Evesham, NJ, offer hepatitis testing. These clinics are known for their friendly staff and short wait times. You can book same-day or next-day testing appointments through Solv’s website and mobile app.

Primary care providers

Primary care providers also offer hepatitis testing. If you have a regular doctor in Woodbury or nearby cities like West Deptford or Deptford, you can schedule an appointment for testing.

Free STD testing and community health centers

Community health centers in and around Woodbury offer free or low-cost hepatitis testing. These centers provide an essential service, especially for those without insurance or with limited financial resources.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are also available. These kits allow you to take a sample at home and send it to a lab for testing, providing a convenient and private option.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Woodbury

While exact numbers for Woodbury are not readily available, according to the CDC, New Jersey has seen an increase in hepatitis cases in recent years. Woodbury, being part of Camden County, may be experiencing a similar trend. It's important to note that hepatitis is often underreported due to lack of symptoms in many individuals.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Woodbury

Risk factors for hepatitis in Woodbury are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, sharing needles, and close contact with someone who has the virus. Socioeconomic factors, such as access to healthcare and education, also play a role.

Other STDs in Woodbury

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis are also prevalent in Woodbury. These diseases often share similar risk factors and transmission methods with hepatitis. Therefore, getting tested for all STDs, not just hepatitis, is crucial for anyone who is sexually active or has been exposed to these diseases.
