I was feeling sick thinking I had a sinus infection but I quickly took a bad turn when I was waiting in my vehicle to be called so I managed to make my way inside barely and was allowed to sit inside and was quickly taken to the back room. The staff was very friendly and understanding being I could barely walk. The doctor was very nice, he listened to me and even got me water and allowed me to sit as long as I needed in a back room after letting me know I was positive for covid. I was extremely upset and at one point hyperventilating. He even gave me my cell phone and called my stepmom for me. He reassured me and allowed me to rest until I could walk to my vehicle to drive myself.

The staff is great, very friendly and appreciative. I booked inside at the reception desk. There was no cost; my insurance covered it. Yes, I would recommend Urgent Care.

Went there on Saturday morning for rapid covid test. Fast friendly staff. Very thankful they were open. Highly recommend.

I came in today for a covid antibody test per my employers request. The nurse who did my test was very nice and professional. However, when I saw Dr. Odell, I believe that’s his name, he was very rude and condescending towards me. I had explained to the nurse that I was still fearful of the covid vaccine but that I was still doing some research, which she encouraged me to do. As should anyone who plans on getting it. Dr. Odell seemed like he was almost pissed off at the fact that I was even there. He said a covid antibody test wasn’t going to tell us anything. I tried to explain to him that I hadn’t been exposed, but he cut me off saying it didn’t matter. I NEVER got the chance to express my concerns about the vaccine or to ask any questions. After his “visit” with me I over heard him in the hallway fussing with the nurse saying he didn’t understand why I was getting an antibody test. As I said before, it was per my employers request. No matter your stance on the vaccine, the way I was treated today was completely uncalled for. I AM NOT ANTIVAX!! I believe you should research anything you put into your body. That is my plan. At the end of the day I was doing what my employer had asked me to do. Dr. Odell’s bedside manner SUCKS and I’m tired of the covid vaccine bullies.

They let My husband and I book back to back appointments which was time saving to us! The staff was very friendly and took time to listen to our concerns and answered all our questions. We highly recommend NextCare Urgent Care!

Staff members were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The wait time was long because they're the only facility around offering same day testing. I would definitely recommend them.

Arrived at 730am, registered at 8, showed i was 2nd in line but 4 others were seen before me. Then told I would get test results in 20 minutes. 4 vehicles left. Finally 1 hour after taking test, was told I was positive. Would prefer to be seen and results given in order.

This staff here is amazing. Christina was super nice and very helpful during check in the back office staff was very nice. Brittany did a wonderful job . she was very sweet and caring. Nextcare of Gastonia is a great place for your urgent care needs !!!!!
