American Family Care (AFC Urgent Care) Locations in Athens, TN

I stated that I had been sick with flu symptoms for 2 weeks prior to having a change in symptoms and suspecting lung issues. I was not tested for the flu as I asked. Only Covid was checked. Everyone else in my home tested positive for Covid also. They are all much better. I’m still very uncomfortable. Please respond

The nurse that saw me and my doctor where very nice and professional. That being said the nurse that came to do my flu and covid test was not. First the two nose test that she administered where rough and done just at the very end of my nose not in the noise. Every covid test and flu test I have had in the past where up the nose. Second she was rough with the test and did not have a good bedside manner. My daughter was in the room beside me and when she was done I was informed by her that her nurse was mean to her and administered her test the same way.

This is a great place for my care... Quick, easy and friendly staff... I would definitely recommend AFC URGENT CARE..

I chose the earliest time to get my daughter’s travel covid test, and they called me back right on time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I’ve been twice to this Urgent Care, once for myself and once for my daughter. Both the doctor I saw and the Nurse Practitioner my daughter saw were wonderful. Awesome bedside manner and thorough. Highly recommend this office for any family needs.

Ever time we go they always have appointments and the staff is always friendly and even though your sick they make u feel welcome and even if when u go to app to Schedule online and it puts one kid in and not the other they say no problem it a easy fix and always have a spot for each kid so thanks to all the staff there for a great experience

I had never been Athens Urgent Care prior to today. I was reluctant to go to a urgent care, but my primary doctor is out of state. The experience far exceeded my expectations! This visit was the most efficient thing I’ve done in a long time. Everyone was super helpful and it was much appreciated under the circumstances!! Thank you!

Great, in and out promptly. Prescription was ready when I arrived . Next couple days showed much improvement. Would recommend urgent care to anyone who needs prompt, courteous, serious care. Thanks, I appreciate you all.

Went for a COVID test. The staff was super friendly from front desk all the way through the visit. They had me in and out of there in no time.

Very caring and answered my questions, took the time do more testing and explained everything.

The staff was helpful, pleasant and Jessi the Nurse Practitioner took time to hear how I was feeling. She was caring and compassionate. The wait time was okay. I checked in at AFC and on my phone. The Provider was kind, compassionate, listened and genuinely cared. Keep up the great work AFC Urgent Care.

I understand with the Covid -19 test ; and they had to do the second time; so it takes time . 20.00$

Other than having an extended wait due to increase numbers of Covid testing, I was most pleased with the visit. Dr. McDaniel and nurse Cheyenne were most professional and helpful.

Staff was friendly. However, you are encouraged to book a time for a covid test, yet they made me wait 1 1/2 hours past my time. I know it was busy, but I was in the 4th time slot of the day and still had to wait that long.

They (Everyone) went above care for me. I needed a Covid rapid test for an emergency flight the next morning. All appointments were full it was 3:45 and they close at 5:00. But told me to come in and they would stay and give me the test so I could fly out and hopefully see my dad before he passes! I will be forever grateful Thank you all

The staff was amazing, they had so many patients trying to be tested for covid and worked as fast as they could to see patients. They have to be exhausted, but we're still super friendly and helpful.
