American Family Care (AFC Urgent Care) Locations in Vonore, TN

This was my first experience with AFC Urgent Care. I was extremely pleased with the staff. From the beginning to the end of the testing procedure. I would certainly recommend AFC Urgent Care.

I had a 1:00 appt for COVID-19 testing. When I checked in, they told me they were running 3 hours behind. They said they would text me when to returned. They texted me at 4:00 to say they were still running behind. I was finally texted at 5:00 to come to the lobby. Throughout, Kimberly was polite and professional. You have a gem there. I saw Lisa who was equally professional and competent. You really need to give those people more staffing.

Other than testing positive everything was excellent

I have been to this AFC location multiple times (for COVID and non-Covid issues) and have been pleased with my treatment every time! My latest visit was for a Covid test and I knew there would be a long wait. I was informed of my wait time when I arrived, was sent an wait-time update text during my wait and actually got in quicker than anticipated! I truly appreciate this clinic and their staff ( ESPECIALLY DAVID AND JANET)! Janet and David never rushed me while I discussed my symptoms/lack of symptoms, expressed my concerns and answered ALL of my questions during my visit! I can not imagine the stress that health care workers are going through right now (and all throughout the ongoing COVID pandemic), but greatly appreciate the professionalism, caring and friendliness shown by all the members of the Chapman Hwy AFC clinic staff! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!🥰

Online This time the nurse that tested for COVID flu and strep was efficient with testing so it was less bothersome and less painful. She was a pro. The office should buy her shoes for her as a gift.

1st time patient here. Been sick, struggled to find a location that could get a vivid rapid test within less than 6 hrs. They had an opening that was almost perfect for my travel time. Booked it. Girlfriend wanted tested too, they saw her as well. Staff was very good, felt like we made friends when we left. NP/Doc was very professional and explained things exceptionally well, also provided scripts for possible (likely but unconfirmed) flu/sinus infection. Great experience altogether. Highly recommended.

This was the first visit to this clinic. The facility was clean. My son was tested for flu and strep which was surprisingly negative since he could not swallow due to his throat being so incredibly sore. The doctor did not prescribe antibiotics in which I feel that an extremely sore throat with excessive green phlegm was really needed. She only prescribed mouth wash and something for occasional cough. He still 2 days later has an extreme sore throat so not really sure what move to make next.

The nurse that saw me and my doctor where very nice and professional. That being said the nurse that came to do my flu and covid test was not. First the two nose test that she administered where rough and done just at the very end of my nose not in the noise. Every covid test and flu test I have had in the past where up the nose. Second she was rough with the test and did not have a good bedside manner. My daughter was in the room beside me and when she was done I was informed by her that her nurse was mean to her and administered her test the same way.

It was an overall good experience. Although I had a lengthy wait time before being seen, I understand it was because of risks and to protect others. The check-in process online was alright and Dr. Congress was very nice and I appreciated that she would sit down and just genuinely listen and would offer her advice. The person who conducted the tests was also very nice. I also appreciated how quick the service after being seen was. I would definitely recommend this place in the future.

This is a great place for my care... Quick, easy and friendly staff... I would definitely recommend AFC URGENT CARE..

I chose the earliest time to get my daughter’s travel covid test, and they called me back right on time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff!!! My husband and I’ve AFC Urgent Care. I broke a rib and had to go there. My husband broke his foot and went. We are always treated with respect and the associates truly care about us.

Had to take my mother in after a fall. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and compassionate. Highly recommend this clinic for urgent care.

Everything was pleasant and professional. Was covered by my insurance. Wait time was very short. Check in was really good. All I had to do was walk in without an appointment.

This was my second time at AFC Urgent Care and I was seen by Wes. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. In fact, all the staff I had interactions with were very skilled and polite. Wes really took the time to check out my foot and diagnose me. He went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more thankful. My foot is back on track now thanks to his diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. Thanks so much!

Staff very friendly. Only part I was not satisfied with was the wait time for a Covid test that I made an appointment for.

I had never been Athens Urgent Care prior to today. I was reluctant to go to a urgent care, but my primary doctor is out of state. The experience far exceeded my expectations! This visit was the most efficient thing I’ve done in a long time. Everyone was super helpful and it was much appreciated under the circumstances!! Thank you!

I came in to get a covid test due to having symptoms. They had me sit in my car until they texted me to go in a room. Everyone was kind and explained what they were doing. They asked questions about my symptoms, when they started, medical conditions, and meds taken. They explained my results and what my options were. I would definitely recommend them for medical needs.
